  • Abel Mezzomo

A very intuitive artist with a keen sensitivity, Abel Mezzomo found himself very early in the universe of electronic music. Although young the prominent DJ/producer, has been dedicated to the music career for more than half of his life. During this journey he – precociously – has consolidated himself as one of the greatest names in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Raised amidst the most distinct and heterogeneous musical influences, Abel stood out not only for his accurate listening and refined taste, but also, and at the same, for his unrivaled ability to deliver to the dance floor and people exactly what they would like to hear, and they didn’t even know. Never falling for the obvious and predictable, Abel always surprises with his bold and quirky mixes.

All of this, added to the unquestionable technical knowledge, led his name and of his artistic movement #SAL to an acknowledgment that soon surpassed national borders. Having played in the biggest nightclubs of the country and Latin America, Abel took his project to Milan where he settled for a few years before landing in Australia, where he is starting a brand-new chapter in his story. After going through many clubs in Sydney and having held his own party in there, Abel is currently living in Gold Coast, where he is now developing his most promising projects with #SAL.

In the meantime, as a mark of his prodigy, his first release "The Return" - a co-production with Nicolson - reached the top 1 techno releases on beatport in 2018.

Currently playing and producing more within this spectrum that goes from deep house to techno, with an emphasis on melodic and progressive, Abel is far from being just another conventional DJ. Always playing with his soul, we can say that his focus is to make present - vibrating in people's chests and in the heart of the dance floor – the sounds of the future.

  • diskodisco

He hasn't acted in anything since 2007 and subsequently tried his hand at music production and Dj-ing. Returning to the scene, DiskoDisco was unaware of the change; instead producing sounds of a bygone era. Utilising synthesizers and drum machines in a new and remarkable fashion that recalls a cheesy '80s movie. A hard working DJ, 2020 has seen the release of DiskoDisco's exciting new monthly 'DiskoTape' series. A collection of sophisticated dance tunes curated into lush DJ sets, with a new mix dropping every month. DiskoDisco sound represents sunny beaches and palm trees with a twist of late night
